Flight prices

Flight prices come from the Travelpayouts/Aviasales cached-price data service: fares found by real travelers’ searches, made available to partners for exactly this purpose. Cached prices are indicative snapshots, not live quotes — depending on the endpoint, an observation reflects searches from roughly the last 48 hours, and every price we show carries its own observation time and freshness window. When an observation ages past its window, we stop presenting it as current and keep it only as clearly-labeled historical context.

What the labels mean

• Recently seen — a cached partner observation inside its freshness window, with its observation time shown.
• Historical — an observation past its freshness window; context only.
• Typical prices — aggregates computed from our own accumulated observations.
• DEMO DATA — fictional demonstration content used while a data connection is pending; excluded from search engines and never presented as a real fare.

What we never do

• Show a cached price as a live or currently-purchasable quote.
• Convert prices between currencies behind your back — you always see the source currency and market.
• Widen a one-adult fare into a family price. The passenger basis is stated on every price.
• Invent urgency. If a fare is gone, it is gone; the partner page is always the source of truth.

Checking a current price always happens on the partner’s site — that is by design: the partner sets the final price, and we never stand between you and it.
