What FareTell is

FareTell is a travel price comparison and decision service — flights first. We show prices we found, we always say where each one came from and when, and we help you understand what a price means before you go anywhere near a booking.

We never sell travel, take payment or issue tickets: you book on partner sites, and the partner sets the final price. Some links are partner links; if you book and the partner counts the booking, the partner may pay us a commission — it never changes your price, and it never changes what we show. The full picture is on how FareTell works.

Where the prices come from

Every price on FareTell was found by a traveler's search on Aviasales. We look for new prices at every departure airport, from every hour at the busiest to once a week at the quietest, and every price shows how long ago it was found. Everything we say about a price is worked out only from prices we can show you. The details are on how our prices work and how we spot a deal.

Why it exists

Travel deal sites like to make you feel rushed: countdown clocks, seats about to vanish, certainty nobody really has. We think the opposite helps more — a price with the time it was found, what we compared it with, and what we still don’t know, all said plainly. When the honest answer is “not enough comparable prices yet”, that is what the page says. That is the whole idea: travel deals, truthfully told.
